Enjoy the River Breeze with a Cupof Shimada’s Finest Green Tea at the “Horaibashi Bridge”, the World Longest Crossable Wooden
Bridge.

The Horaibashi Bridge was built across Oi River in 1879 to connect the town of Shimada and Makinohara Heights, where former shogun retainers cultivated tea fields.

Try wearing a Haori (a short coat for formal kimono) at “897.4 (Yakunashi) Chaya” located on the foot of the long ridge, and have a cup of green tea.
