The tea fields in the Kawane area—an area located in the mountainous upstream part of the Oi river—has been famous for its high quality of green tea since long ago. The secret to its deliciousness is the climate; there is fog in the mornings and the change in temperature between the morning and night is extreme. You will learn how to pick tea leaves with your hands, how to brew green tea, and will be able to relax while drinking your delicious tea.

After August, they change to roasting Hoji tea and brewing tea in an indoor room.
